Joseph is an experienced teacher, with over 15 years of teaching experience, including six years as the Horn Instructor for the Wellesley Public Schools and for the Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Joseph currently teaches French horn lessons in Nashville, Tennessee.
Joseph’s approach to teaching is that each student should have an individualized plan catered to their specific goals on the horn, whether that is becoming a professional musician, making it into the school band, or just becoming a better horn player. All levels, abilities, and ages are welcome to take French horn lessons, from elementary school students to adults.
Joseph is also an experienced performer with fifteen years of professional experience. Joseph is a tenured member of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, Opera Saratoga, and the Albany (NY) Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with the Nashville Opera, Boston Philharmonic, Boston Lyric Opera, Memphis Symphony, Alabama Symphony, Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Kentucky, Gateway Chamber Orchestra, Rhode Island Philharmonic, New Hampshire Music Festival, Tucson Symphony, New Haven Symphony, and many more.
Joseph also has extensive recording experience, including several video games, movies and TV shows for EA Sports, Sony, Disney, Ubisoft, Microsoft, Columbia Pictures, Warner Brothers, and many more. He has also performed on one Grammy® award winning recording and several Grammy® nominated recording with the Albany Symphony Orchestra.
